Quetta Gladiators have acquired top-order wicketkeeper/batter Khawaja Nafay for Rs. 6.50 crore during the ongoing 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction at Lahore’s Expo Center.
Khawaja Nafay, known for his aggressive strokeplay and ability to accelerate the innings in T20 cricket, adds firepower and stability to Quetta’s batting lineup.
His inclusion strengthens the Gladiators’ top order and provides flexibility in constructing a competitive middle and powerplay strategy.
He is currently part of the Pakistan squad for the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2026 in Sri Lanka and India. Despite praises for his explosive batting, he is yet to be featured in Pakistan’s playing XI at the T20 World Cup.
This signing comes after a series of notable deals in the auction, including Lahore Qalandars bringing back Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore and retaining opener Fakhar Zaman for Rs. 7.95 crore.
Rawalpindi have fortified their pace attack with Naseem Shah for Rs. 8.65 crore and Mohammad Amir for Rs. 5.40 crore, while also adding New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell for Rs. 8.05 crore.
Sialkot Stallionz secured Sahibzada Farhan for Rs. 5.70 crore, Karachi Kings signed all-rounder Salman Ali Agha for Rs. 5.85 crore, and Hyderabad Kingsmen picked up Sri Lankan opener Kusal Perera for Rs. 3.10 crore.
With marquee local and overseas players now in place, PSL 11 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive seasons yet.
