Pakistan openers Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman produced a landmark innings together during the must-win Super Eight clash against Sri Lanka at T20 World Cup 2026.

The hundred adds to his earlier ton against Namibia in the same campaign, making Sahibzada the only cricketer in ICC history to score two centuries at a T20 World Cup.

Sahibzada Farhan also broke the Indian batsman Virat Kohli’s 12-year-old T20 World Cup record by becoming the highest all-time run-scorer in single tournament.
Sahibzada and Fakhar’s innings has given Pakistan a massive boost, putting on a mammoth total of 212 for 8 in this all-important clash. However, Pakistan will need to defeat Sri Lanka by 65 runs in order to make an incredible comeback and reach the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2026, eliminating an in-form New Zealand side in the process.
