The National Tariff Commission (NTC) has extended the anti-dumping duty on imports of One-Side Coated Bleached Paperboard from China until February 2027 after finding that previous duties were being circumvented.
The 29.02 percent duty will apply to Two-Side Coated Bleached Paperboard with a coating of 20 g/m² or more on one side and less than 20 g/m² on the other, using materials such as starch, China clay, or calcium carbonate. The products are classified under PCT codes 4810.9200 and 4810.9900.
The duty extension is effective until February 27, 2027, and applies only to products originating from or imported from China. Slightly modified products will face the same duty for the same period. Products from other countries are not affected.
The decision aims to protect domestic manufacturers by ensuring anti-dumping measures continue to prevent unfair price competition and safeguard local production.
