Following the end of OSHI NO KO Season 3 by way of a one-hour finale, the TV anime’s X/Twitter account has announced the production of a fourth and final season. Here’s the announcement visual:

OSHI NO KO is an adaptation of the entertainment industry-themed mystery drama manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and drawn by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish). Season 1 made its debut in 2023, followed by Season 2 in 2024. 2024 also saw the end of its source material, the synopsis of which Yen Press describes as such:
Gorou is a gynecologist and idol fan who’s in shock after his favorite star, Ai, announces an impromptu hiatus. Little does Gorou realize that he’s about to forge a bond with her that defies all common sense! Lies are an idol’s greatest weapon in this outrageous manga from Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish).
The OSHI NO KO manga began in 2020 and was serialized in Shueisha’s seinen magazine Weekly Young Jump. It’s also available in English on MANGA Plus.
