Oppo is set to unveil the Oppo Find X9s Pro later this month in China. The device is positioned as a compact flagship and is expected to focus heavily on camera performance, including support for an optional telephoto extender.
External Hasselblad Telephoto Accessory
Ahead of the April 21 launch, Oppo showcased the phone paired with a silver-colored telephoto lens developed with Hasselblad.
The accessory features a full metal build and attaches to the device through a rotating mechanism for secure mounting. It is designed for long-range photography scenarios such as sports and wildlife, extending zoom capabilities while maintaining image clarity and color consistency associated with Hasselblad tuning.
The design and finish resemble a professional camera lens, positioning it as more than a standard smartphone add-on.
Dual 200MP Camera System
The Find X9s Pro is expected to feature a dual 200-megapixel camera setup, including a primary sensor and a telephoto lens. This configuration places it among a limited number of smartphones offering dual 200MP cameras, with a focus on imaging performance.
Display and Performance
The device is tipped to include a 6.32-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, along with narrow bezels. It may also use a new display material designed to improve brightness and efficiency.
Performance is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset. The phone is also expected to include a 7,025mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Additional Features and Availability
Other expected features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and dual speakers, indicating a premium feature set.
Oppo will launch the Find X9s Pro alongside the Find X9 Ultra at the same event. While the Ultra model is expected to launch globally, the Find X9s Pro may remain limited to the Chinese market.
