Nine has expanded its BBC partnership, bringing the British broadcaster’s 24/7 global BBC News channel to its free streaming platform 9Now.
The launch builds on the suite of BBC FAST channels added to the late platform in late 2024, further expanding access to its global news coverage in Australia alongside streaming on BBC.com and select bulletins carried by SBS.

The 9Network today announced that 9Now will bolster its live content offering with the addition of the BBC News channel.
This expansion of live content, through a long-standing partnership with BBC Studios, provides Australian audiences with 24-hour access on 9Now to one of the world’s most trusted news brands.
Positioned prominently within the 9Now lineup, BBC News will be easily accessible for viewers seeking high-utility, around-the-clock news content.
BBC News joins 9Now’s existing portfolio of BBC FAST channels: BBC Comedy, BBC Food, BBC Home & Garden, Top Gear and Antiques Roadshow.
