REMOW has announced that TOUGEN ANKI: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc is scheduled to premiere in October 2026. It was announced during AnimeJapan 2026, where they also revealed two new cast members.
Nobuhiko Okomoto and Kento Ito are joining the cast, voicing Hagure Neoksai and Yu Innami, respectively.

The series was first announced in December 2025 alongside a teaser visual. The anime first aired in July 2025 and was split into two cours, with the second cour airing in October 2025.
It is based on the original adventure dark fantasy manga written and illustrated by Yura Urushibara. It was first seralized in June 2020 under AKITASHOTEN’s Weekly Shounen Chapion magaizine.
Yen Press has licensed and is publishing the manga in English. Yen Press describes the synopsisof the first volume as:
Shiki Ichinose would have never guessed his adoptive father used to be an Oni-hunting Momotarou, much less that the old man walked away from that life just to raise him despite Shiki’s dangerous Oni blood. After seeing the only parent he ever knew murdered by a Momotarou assassin, Shiki’s blood awakens.
