Popstar Nicki Minaj has suffered a wild gaffe during an appearance alongside Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika.
Minaj walked out alongside the CEO of Turning Point USA as Q&A guest star at AmericaFest in Arizona on Sunday.
During the event, Erika asked Minaj what advice she would tell the numerous young men in the audience.

Minaj responded by naming US President Donald Trump as “handsome, dashing” and one of the many “role models” they can follow.
She then had a shocking mishap, telling Erika: “You have amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance”.
Some of the audience shuddered while others laughed at the mention of an “assassin” in front of Erika following the shooting death of her husband at a Utah college event in September.
Minaj then covered her mouth after realising her mistake and appeared to look away from Erika, who stepped in to diffuse the situation.
“Trust me, there is nothing new under the sun that I have not heard,” she said, adding: “I love you”.
Erika then turned to the crowd, saying: “You have to laugh about it, truly”.
“I have been called every single thing, and you know what, God is so good, you let it roll right off your back.”
She then added that she didn’t care if the internet clipped up the segment, going on to describe Minaj as an “amazing woman”.
“Words are words, but I know her heart, it doesn’t even matter,” she said.
It comes just weeks after Kirk’s alleged killer Tyler Robinson made his first appearance in a Utah court.
Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder and felony use of a firearm, as well as obstruction of justice, witness tampering and commission of a violent offence in the presence of a child.
He has not yet entered a plea to the charges. A three-day preliminary hearing has been set to begin on May 18, 2026.
Robinson surrendered to police on September 11, a day after the shooting.
Erika was designated as a victim representative by the court, which grants her better access to case information.
She has pushed for the case to be open to the public, in part to cut down on what she has called conspiracy theories about his death.
“We deserve to have cameras in there,” she told Fox News last month. “Why not be transparent?”
