New PSL Teams Will be From These 2 Cities

The Pakistan Super League has officially confirmed the cities for its two newest franchises.

League officials announced that the seventh and eighth PSL teams will be based in Hyderabad and Sialkot. The decision expands the league’s geographic footprint and brings top tier T20 cricket to two more cities.

Hyderabad will host Team 7, which was acquired by FKS after a winning bid of Rs. 175 crore. The group has already confirmed the city and said the team’s full name will be unveiled at a formal ceremony.

Sialkot will serve as the home city for Team 8. The franchise was secured by OZ Developers with a winning bid of Rs. 185 crore, exceeding the base price set by the league.

Officials said the inclusion of Hyderabad and Sialkot reflects strong commercial interest and the PSL’s long term growth strategy. Both cities have a deep cricketing connection and established fan bases.

With two new teams confirmed, the Pakistan Super League is set to enter a new phase of expansion, with further details on team branding, schedules, and venues expected in the coming weeks.
