The Godzilla X (formerly Twitter) account has dropped a piece of concept art for a new Godzilla anime. This new entry in the franchise will feature a boy (who looks like a fusion of My Hero Academia‘s Deku and some of the male sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo) with the power of Godzilla within him. 

The caption ends by questioning if the boy is a human or Godzilla.

Godzilla has previously been represented in anime form through shows like Godzilla Singular Point, Godzilla Planet of the Monsters, and Chibi Godzilla. The iconic kaiju franchise began in 1954 with the original Godzilla live-action movie and is still going strong, with its 31st Japanese-produced live-action film Godzilla Minus Zero announced earlier this month.
