Netflix has dropped a small video preview of THE ONE PIECE remake’s production materials, showing off some of its character sheets and image boards.
THE ONE PIECE was announced back in December 2023. It’s a WIT STUDIO production directed by Masashi Koizuka of Attack on Titan Season 2 and 3. Other staff credits include:

• Series composer: Taku Kishimoto (Ranking of Kings)
• Assistant director: Hideaki Abe (Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 15 storyboard artist and director, Episode 4 director)

The current Toei Animation-produced One Piece TV anime, which began airing in 1999, entered the “Elbaph Arc” on April 5, 2026. In 2025, it was announced that it would switch to a 26-episode-a-year release schedule, with those episodes split into two blocks.
Other upcoming One Piece video content include the One Piece Heroines special episode, the third season of Netflix’s One Piece live-action series (newly revealed to have the subtitle The Battle of Alabasta), and the newly announced LEGO ONE PIECE.
The original One Piece manga by Eiichiro Oda began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997 and has 114 volumes as of March 2026. VIZ Media describes the manga as such:

Other One Piece anime include a long line of movies and a 1997 Production I.G-produced OVA.
