Netflix has released a thrilling final trailer for the upcoming second season of the One Piece live-action series. Season two, titled One Piece: Into The Grand Line, will debut on the service on March 10, 2026.
In addition to its streaming premiere on Netflix, the company announced last week that the first two episodes of the second season would receive special theatrical screenings in the U.S, Canada, and Japan. More than 200 theaters are scheduled to host one-day showings on March 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM local time.
Netflix describes the new season of its One Piece live-action series as:
Netflix’s epic high-seas pirate adventure, ONE PIECE, returns for Season 2 — unleashing fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.
The first season of the live-action One Piece series debuted in August 2023. The second season has Matt Owens and Joe Tracz (Percy Jackson and the Olympians and A Series of Unfortunate Events co-writer) as showrunners. Steven Maeda was co-showrunner with Owens for the previous season and remained in the role on season two as an executive producer. Ian Stokes will join as showrunner for the third season, with Owens not returning to the series, as first announced last March.
Meanwhile, the cast for One Piece: Into The Grand Line stars:
- • Iñaki Godoy as Luffy
- • Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro
- • Emily Rudd as Nami
- • Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp
- • Taz Skylar as Sanji
- • Lera Abova as Miss All-Sunday
- • Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday

The One Piece manga series by Eiichiro Oda began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 22, 1997 under the Jump Comics label. A total of 113 tankobon volumes have been released as of November 2025, with a 114th volume set to be released on March 4, 2026. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English.
The manga inspired a 1999 OVA from Production I.G and a long-running TV anime adaptation from Toei Animation that has been running since 1999. The franchise also inspired numerous spinoff titles, anime films, stage plays, video games, drama CDs, card games, art and guidebooks, and more.
Crunchyroll is streaming the One Piece TV anime series and describes the main premise as:
Monkey D. Luffy refuses to let anyone or anything stand in the way of his quest to become King of the Pirates. With his rubber-like stretching powers granted by the supernatural Devil Fruit, the spirited young pirate seeks the legendary treasure known as the One Piece. He’ll chart a course for the treacherous waters of the Grand Line and recruit a motley crew to build his Straw Hat Pirates one bond at a time. This is one captain who’ll never drop anchor until he and his friends all reach their dreams!
