Ramsay Street is gearing up for another emotional goodbye as Neighbours prepares to wrap its latest chapter next week, marking its second send off in as many years.
This time, the network is promising big returns, clashing loyalties and a cul de sac showdown that tests the very heart of the street.
The finale centres on a simmering battle between Paul Robinson and Shane Ramsay as their competing developments divide the neighbourhood, while Susan Kennedy digs in to protect the legacy of the street she loves.

Familiar faces will return (though fans shouldn’t expect another Kylie or Guy Pearce cameo) and long time locals reflect on what Ramsay Street has meant to them, setting the stage for a farewell built on nostalgia, conflict and a little fan-pleasing sentiment.
To get there, next week’s broadcast schedule will look a little unusual. Neighbours will air as normal at 4pm on Monday and Tuesday, but Wednesday & Thursday’s daytime slots will be filled with House Hunters Australia repeats as the soon to be vacated timeslot begins to wind down.
Instead, the finale jumps to primetime for a well earned send off, airing as a double episode at 8:40pm AEDT on Thursday night following a new episode of The Graham Norton Show.
It’s understood alternatives were explored, though with Prime Video funding most of the revived run, the streamer naturally had a strong say in how the finale rollout would take shape.
However, fans should beware of spoilers. With Prime Video set to premiere the episodes internationally from around 6pm AEDT, Australian audiences watching on 10 will face a few risky hours online depending on their timezone.
This farewell comes after the revived production found itself back on uncertain footing earlier this year, with negotiations between Amazon and Fremantle collapsing following a strategic shift that folded Freevee into Prime Video.

So while this axing marks a second goodbye for the iconic soap despite its brief return and four decades on air, history has shown that Ramsay Street has a habit of defying final curtain calls.
Never say never, even if this one feels convincing.
The Neighbours finale airs Thursday, 11 December at 8:40pm AEDT on 10.
