A “Cho Ten-chan” main visual and a nearly two-minute main trailer for the NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD TV anime have been released. The latter displays more of the story’s glitter and darkness, and also includes a snippet of the newly announced ending theme song “Levitation” by Tatsuya Kitani.
It was also revealed that the anime will begin airing on April 4 at 24:30 JST (effectively April 5 at 12:30 JST).

NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD, or NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE, is inspired by the 2022 adventure game “about a girl with quite a need for approval who wants to become the bestest streamer = Internet Angel.” The player takes on the role of a producer for the girl, Ame, who streams as OMGkawaiiAngel.
After its Steam launch, the NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD game was released on Nintendo Switch in October 2022 and later came to PlayStation 4 and 5 in 2025. Steam lists WSS playground and xemono as the developers.
