Namra Shahid is a talented Pakistani actress who is recently getting praise for her acting in Muamma and Aik Aur Pakeezah. The actress is currently also mourning the loss of her mother, who passed away in February 2026. According to Namra, her mother played an important role in building her career as an actor by taking all her responsibilities, especially looking after her daughter. Namra got emotional multiple times while remembering her late mother.
Recently, in Maliha Rehman’s interview, she emotionally shared the pain of losing her mother. Namra Shahid revealed the details of her mother’s death.
Talking about it, Namra Shahid said, “My mother passed away in February. It was all sudden for me. I talked to her the night before her death; she was all fine at night, but during the day she fell sick and passed away. It is traumatic for me losing her suddenly. It’s not easy for me, but I think now I have become a mother , previously, I never felt like a mother because she looked after my daughter very well. I was unaware of mommy duties because she did everything for her—she fed her, bathed her, and gave all her time to my daughter. Now, when I am not on the shoot, I give time to her; I spend time with her. I love to make memories hanging out with her. I believe kids don’t forget their good memories” Watch here:
