Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Trailer Spotlights Eris, Reveals July 5 Broadcast Premiere

A trailer for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3‘s “Eris Shugyohen” (“Eris Training Arc”) has dropped, highlighting Eris and other faces. It also reveals a July 5, 24:00 JST (effectively July 6, 00:00 JST) broadcast start date, and previews the opening song “Ketsui no Uta” by Yuiko Ohara.

Additionally, it was announced that Haruka Tomatsu is voicing Nina Farion, the daughter of the “Sword God” Gal Farion, while Tetsu Inada is Gal. See their character designs here.

There was previously a teaser visual in January, and a teaser trailer last July. Crunchyroll has announced that it will be streaming the third season.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation adapts the MF Books isekai light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the light novels’ synopsis as such:

Kicked out by his family and wandering the streets, an unemployed 34-year-old shut-in thinks he’s hit rock-bottom—just as he’s hit and killed by a speeding truck! Awakening to find himself reborn as an infant in a world of swords and sorcery, but with the memories of his first life intact, Rudeus Greyrat is determined not to repeat his past mistakes. He’s going to make the most of this reincarnation as he sets off on the adventure of a second lifetime!

The anime’s first season premiered in 2021, followed by Season 2 in 2023. Both seasons had two split cours. Season 1, Season 2 Cour 1, and Season 2 Cour 2 had different directors.

The light novel series ran from 2014 to 2022 with 26 volumes and has inspired a manga adaptation and multiple spin-offs. Mushoku Tensei began in 2012 as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel.
