Motorola has expanded its 2026 Moto G lineup with the launch of the Moto G Power (2026), following the introduction of the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) last month.
The new model keeps up Motorola’s trend of keeping the SD card slot and headphone jack intact alongside military durability and strong waterproofing. Here are the details.
Design and Display
The Moto G Power (2026) features a 6.8-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone includes stereo speakers and carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
Motorola said the device has been tested across 14 MIL-STD-810H categories, covering resistance to drops, temperature extremes, and humidity. The phone will be available in Pantone Evening Blue and Pantone Pure Cashmere color options.
Internals and Software
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of base storage
Motorola ships the Moto G Power (2026) with Android 16 preinstalled. Motorola is known for keeping its software experience as close to vanilla as possible, meaning you can expect a similar OS to Google Pixel phones, minus the exclusive Pixel features/apps.
Cameras
On the rear, the phone features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a macro vision lens. For selfies, Motorola includes a 32MP front-facing camera. Video recording is limited to 1080p resolution on both the front and back cameras.
Battery and Pricing
The Moto G Power (2026) is equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging. Motorola said the battery is designed to retain more than 80% of its original capacity after 1,000 charging cycles.
In the US, the Moto G Power (2026) will be available starting January 8 for $299.99. It should become available in more regions around the globe soon enough.
