A teaser trailer and main cast members have been unveiled for the upcoming Monster Eater “light anime” series. The series is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.
The main voice cast that were confirmed in the trailer includes Makoto Furukawa as Rudd and Yuki Nakashima as Elyssia.
Hikaru Sato is directing the light anime, with Kazuya Takahashi in charge of the production supervision and nanogram.inc providing production assistance. IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio are in charge of the animation production.
The original fantasy light novel series is written by Renkino and illustrated by Kawaku. It was published by Earth Star Entertainment from August 18, 2023 to January 17, 2024, with two volumes being released in Japan. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on March 31, 2023.
LINE Manga launched a webtoon adaptation on June 29, 2024, which is drawn by Kei Ichimatsu and Tanako Tanao. Another separate manga adaptation by TATE was launched on Square Enix’s Manga UP! service on August 21, 2024.
