Mohra is Geo TV’s popular prime-time drama serial featuring well-known actors Laiba Khan, Aagha Ali, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Syeda Tuba Anwar, and several other Pakistani stars. The story revolves around an innocent girl, Alizay, who turns vengeful after her sister Anoushay’s suicide, for which Sikandar, her secret husband, is responsible. The drama is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, directed by Mohsin Mirza, and written by Tahir Nazeer.
Geo TV aired a total of 75 episodes, and today marked the finale of Mohra, which concluded with Alizay forgiving her in laws after taking her revenge. In the last episode, Alizay forgave Sikandar and her mother-in-law and secured their release from jail. Sikandar confessed his wrongdoings and asked for forgiveness from Anoushay at her grave. The finale also showed a time leap of several years, after which Alizay reunited with her husband along with their two children born after their separation.
Fans have expressed mixed reactions with some liking the ending while others criticizing the abrupt twists and time jumps. Aagha Ali’s acting in emotional scenes was widely praised, and Laiba Khan also received appreciation. However, some viewers felt the drama became stretched and lost its plot. Fans also trolled the plot twist where Uncle Shahnawaz gave all his property to Alizay, a stranger to him. One fan wrote, “I need one Uncle Shahnawaz in my life.” Another said, “Aagha Ali delivered great acting in these scenes; he was even better than Mikaal.” One viewer commented, “Hamza could have forgiven Alizay the way he forgave his family.” Fans also trolled Alizay and Hamza’s grown-up children after the time jump, saying, “It was almost a shock for me to see such grown-up children of Alizay.” One comment read, “This drama is a lesson for girls who blindly trust bad boys.” Read the full comments:
