It’s been 20 years since the wig first went on and now Hannah Montana is getting the full nostalgia treatment.
Disney+ has unveiled the official trailer and artwork for its Hannah Montana anniversary special, bringing Miley Cyrus back to reflect on the role that defined a generation.
Timed to mark two decades since the series first launched on Disney Channel, the special sees Cyrus revisit key moments from her time as the pop alter ego that made her a household name.

Hosted by Alex Cooper, the special features an in depth interview alongside archive footage, a look inside Miley’s personal collection, surprise guests and appearances from familiar faces.
Alongside the interview, viewers can also expect a new musical performance from Cyrus as part of the anniversary event.
Disney+ is also leaning into the moment with a dedicated Hannah Montana collection, including all four seasons, the feature film and concert special available to stream.
The franchise continues to pull strong numbers, with Disney+ reporting more than half a billion hours watched globally on the platform.
The production is backed by HopeTown Entertainment and Unwell Productions, with Ashley Edens serving as showrunner and Miley Cyrus, Tish Cyrus Purcell, Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan as executive producers.
The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special lands on Disney+ in Australia March 24.
