The TV anime adaptation of Makoto Takatsu‘s Migratory Birds & Snail (Watari Tori to Katatsumuri) manga will start its broadcast in 2027.
The announcement comes on the same date (March 25 JST) as the release of the manga’s sixth volume.

Migratory Birds & Snail is a Wani Books-published title that began serialization on Comic Gum in 2019. The premise of the road trip-themed series sees parts distributor Unpei Mochizuki deciding to go afar after a blunder. His decision leads him to cross paths with picture book author Tsugumi Nagisa, who travels in a custom van with her dog.
The manga went on hiatus in 2021 and announced its return in 2024, on the same date as the TV anime’s reveal. It is currently running on NewsCrunch.
