Australian Professional Leagues (APL) partnered with FCA in 2022-23 to help provide the recognition required for outstanding coaching performances across both the Ninja A-League and Isuzu UTE A-League.
The FCA assembled an experienced panel that decides the monthly nominees and then subsequent winners for Coach of the Month in both leagues.
The March/April eligibility period included Rounds 19-22 of the Ninja A-League season, with games between March 13 and April 5 considered by the FCA Panel when voting for the Coach of the Month nominees.
As such, Matricciani’s side secured crucial wins over Canberra United, Western Sydney Wanderers and Newcastle Jets whilst also claiming a point against Adelaide United.
