Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, announced Monday it has tapped former Trump adviser Dina Powell McCormick to serve as president and vice chair. Powell McCormick, who served as deputy national security adviser in President Trump’s first term, briefly joined the company’s board of directors last year before departing in December. “Dina’s experience at the highest levels of global finance, combined with her deep relationships around the world, makes her uniquely suited to help Meta manage this next phase of growth as the company’s President and Vice Chairman,” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement.…
