MBTA Transit Police are requesting the public’s help identifying a suspect who allegedly assaulted a Green Line rider.
The incident took place Feb. 27 at about 8 p.m. in the Prudential station, Transit Police said on X. The suspect allegedly spat on the victim and struck them multiple times with a closed fist.
In photos shared by Transit Police, the suspect can be seen dressed all in black, wearing a hoodie, sweatpants, and sneakers. He also appears to have short hair, a beard, and tattoos on his neck and hands.

Transit police are asking anyone with information about the alleged assault to contact the MBTA criminal investigations unit and 617-222-1050. Tips can be submitted anonymously, according to police.
