Grace Inacio of Bridgewater State and Eliza Lee of Westfield State take home the MASCAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field weekly awards after competing in at the Tufts Final Qualifier and New England Championship, respectively.
Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Grace Inacio, Bridgewater State
Sophomore, Taunton, Mass.
Inacio captured top honors in the 200-meter dash this past weekend at the Tufts Final Qualifier with a time of 24.91 seconds. Her winning time, converted to 24.53 for track size, is tied for 13th in all of Division III as she earned a spot at the NCAA Division III Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.

Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Elize Lee, Westfield State
Junior, Walpole, Mass
Lee took home sixth place honors the triple jump, leaping 11.24 meters (36’-10.50”) among a field of 21 Division I and II competitors at the NEICCA Indoor Championship meet on Saturday. Lee was the only competitor from a Division III school in the event. Also finished 15th in the long jump on Friday at a mark of 5.21 meters.
