Player of the Week
Roshan Warriar, MCLA
Sophomore, Short Stop, Pittsfield, Mass.
Warriar batted .625 (5-for-8) with an on-base percentage of .700 and a slugging percentage of .625, while driving in a pair of runs, drawing two walks, stealing two bases and scoring five runs in MCLA’s sweep of Yeshiva University (23-1, 8-5).

Hallissey struck out eight batters in five innings allowing just one run in a Bucs’ 3-1 win against Norwich on opening day.

Rookie of the Week
Brayden Wright, Anna Maria
Freshman, First Base, Middleboro, Mass.
Wright batted 6-for-12 (.500) across three games, helping the AMCATS to a 2-1 week. Drove in four RBI, scored two runs, and hit a double. Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the opener, a 7-4 win over John Jay. Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, including a walkoff single in game two against John Jay. Went 1-for-4 with an RBI in a setback to Rose-Hulman.
