A behind-the-scenes series for the upcoming MARRIAGETOXIN TV anime will launch on YouTube in the future. The series will comprise five episodes, covering character design, color design, photography/compositing, action scene animation, and sound design.
An overview-style preview dubbed Vol.0 is out now.
Aside from the making-of content, it was announced that MARRIAGETOXIN will have “Kill or Kiss” by Yurina Hirate as its opening song.
MARRIAGETOXIN is scheduled to premiere in April. It adapts the manga by Joumyakyu (story) and Mizuki Yoda (art). The premise sees Hikaru, an assassin and the heir to the Poison Masters Clan, commiting himself to finding a bride, so that he may prevent his sister from being forced to produce the next heir. One of his targets, Mei, is a marriage swindler who, in a twist of events, ends up collaborating with Hikaru on his bride quest.
The MARRIAGETOXIN manga debuted in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump + in 2022 and has 16 volumes as of January 2026. It placed 8th in the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2022’s web category. Manga Plus and Viz Media offer the manga in English.
