MARRIAGETOXIN Reveals Trailer, Visual, Cast

A trailer for the upcoming MARRIAGETOXIN TV anime adaptation has been revealed, along with a visual and cast details.

The cast additions are:

• Anna Nagase as Kyoko Himekawa
• Mariya Ise as Shizuku Ushio
• Asaki Yuikawa as Shiori Ureshino
• Soma Saito as Genya Naruko
• Hinano Shirahama as Kimie Arashiyama
• Simba Tsuchiya as Piichi Nakagawa

MARRIAGETOXIN is based on the manga by Joumyakyu (story) and Mizuki Yoda (art). One protagonist, Hikaru, is an assassin and the heir to the Poison Masters Clan who commits to finding a bride, so that he may prevent his sister from being forced to produce the next heir. One of his targets is Mei, a marriage swindler who, in a twist of events, ends up working with Hikaru to help him get a bride.

The manga began in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump + in 2022 and has 15 volumes as of October 2025. It placed 8th in the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2022’s web category. Manga Plus has it in English.

The anime will premiere in April 2026 and be broadcast in Kansai Television’s new Kaanival 11 slot, which launches in January with Tune In to the Midnight Heart. The slot will also feature anime like The Ghost in the Shell and Super Psychic Policeman Chojo.
