PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A man was found dead after a house fire in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood on Friday evening.
The fire broke out around 5 p.m. at a home near 33rd Street and Ridge Avenue.
Police say the victim was found on the second floor. He has not been identified.
Fire crews placed the blaze under control around 5:35 p.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
