A 29-year-old detainee has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of another man inside Sydney’s Villawood Detention Centre.
The 51-year-old victim was discovered with serious stab wounds to his neck at the facility in Sydney’s southwest yesterday.
Despite efforts to save him, the man could not be revived.

Police arrested another detainee, aged 29, who has since been charged with murder.
The accused is scheduled to face court on Monday.
