Talik Rashaun Garcia, 36, was arrested and charged Friday after police conducted a search of his Fenway home, Boston police said.

A Boston man was arrested Friday following a child exploitation and human trafficking investigation, police said.

Talik Rashaun Garcia, 36, was arrested and charged after police executed a search warrant of his Fenway apartment, the Boston Police Department said in a press release.

Garcia was arrested “as a result of the evidence obtained during this investigation,” police said.

Garcia was arraigned Tuesday in Boston Municipal Court in Roxbury, court records show.

He is charged with rape and abuse of a child aggravated by a 10-year age difference; trafficking of persons for sexual servitude under the age of 18; posing or exhibiting a child in a state of nudity or sexual conduct; dissemination of visual material of a child in a state of nudity or sexual context; and knowingly purchasing or possessing visual material of a child depicted in sexual conduct.

Garcia pleaded not guilty to all charges. He was released on a $5,000 cash bail on the conditions that he stay away from and has no contact with the alleged victim and is not alone with any children except his own.

Along with BPD, the Massachusetts State Police High-Risk Victims Squad contributed to the arrest, Boston police said.

An attorney for Garcia did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday night.
