The upcoming Magical Girl Lyrical NANOHA EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance TV anime has received a teaser trailer, along with a second key visual and a July 2026 premiere window announcement.

In the anime’s setting, the EXCEEDS organization handles crises and calamities caused by mysterious invasive creatures that appeared 30 years ago and continue to threaten humanity’s safety. Protagonist Shiina is a hunter of these creatures who lives with her sister and only family Setsuna.

Magical Girl Lyrical NANOHA EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance is the latest anime entry in the Magical Girl Lyrical NANOHA franchise, which began with a 2004 TV anime directed by Akiyuki Shinbo (Monogatari Series and Puella Magi Madoka Magica chief director). The franchise, a spin off of the eroge series Triangle Heart, usually focuses on the titular Nanoha Takamachi, who initially becomes a magical girl to help a mage find the Jewel Seeds. The previous anime entry was the 2018 movie Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation.
Nanoha is nine at the start of the franchise, and has been depicted at older ages in later titles. The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS manga, which was announced with Magical Girl Lyrical NANOHA EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance and debuted in April 2025, begins with Nanoha as a 13-year-old teenager.
