A manga adaptation of the upcoming Love Through a Prism historical romance anime has begun its serialization, and it’s also available in English on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus.
The art is handled by Maki Minami (Special A creator), while Love Through a Prism creator Yoko Kamio (Boys Over Flowers) has the story credit.
Here’s the synopsis:
The dawn of the 20th century, a difficult period for women to realize their dreams. At an art academy in London, Lili, a Japanese art student chasing her dreams, meets Kit, an artistic prodigy from a family of aristocrats. Their meeting, transcending social status and their home countries, will set their fates in motion…!
In Japan, the manga is on Shonen Jump+ and the female manga service Manga Mee.
The WIT STUDIO-produced Love Through a Prism (Prism Rondo) anime will premiere on Netflix on January 15, 2026. Atsumi Tanezaki is voicing Lili, while Kit is played by Koki Uchiyama. Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning, Fena: Pirate Princess, Kill Bill anime part; Terror in Resonance character designer) is the director.
Aside from the original concept, Kamio also came up with the original character designs and shares scriptwriting credits.
