VOORHEES, New Jersey (WPVI) — To celebrate the holidays, these pets and their owners got to take photos with Santa for a good cause.
Their photo came with a small donation to Animal Welfare Association, a nonprofit shelter ready to get pets into new homes this season.
“Not only are we doing photos, but we’re also featuring our giving tree in the lobby so people can come in, select an ornament, there’s a QR code for Amazon wish list, some items that our friends really love or really need,” said Event Planner at Animal Welfare Association, Stephanie Griffiths.
“This weekend we have our ‘Great Pet Adoption Celebration’ going on through December 2nd. This is just a really fun event… for people to come in, meet their new furry best friend. Our pet insurance company…they’re going to be offering some discounts,” said Marketing and Communications Manager at Animal Welfare Association, Jaime Moore.
