Local bakery teams up with Yo-Chi, bringing soft, gooey, mini cinnamon scrolls to Adelaide for a limited time

If your TikTok feed has been full of gooey, iced cinnamon scrolls lately, you’re not alone, and now Adelaide is getting in on the action in a big way.

North Adelaide favourite Butter & Toast has teamed up with cult frozen yoghurt spot Yo-Chi to bring a seriously sweet collaboration to South Australia, with Mini Cinny Scrolls dropping in stores for a limited time.

Running from April 7th to 20th, the collab will see fresh batches of mini cinnamon scrolls delivered to all seven Yo-Chi locations across SA every one to three days.

Butter & Toast has already built a loyal following for its soft, fluffy scrolls that regularly sell out before midday, and now those same flavours are being reimagined in bite-sized form to pair perfectly with Yo-Chi’s customisable froyo.

“We’ve seen cinnamon scroll demand explode recently at Butter & Toast, and there are days we sell out before midday,” said Co-Founders of Butter & Toast Thy and Ram. “Partnering with Yo-Chi stores across the city is incredibly exciting for us, and we can’t wait for locals to try our mini cinny scrolls paired with Yo-Chi’s fan-favourite frozen yoghurt.”

Known for its build-your-own dessert concept and strong Gen Z following, Yo-Chi has become a go-to for sweet treats that are as aesthetic as they are delicious. This collab takes things up a notch, adding a fresh, locally made bakery element into the mix.

And it’s not just an SA thing, this is part of a nationwide rollout, with Yo-Chi partnering with beloved bakeries in each state to bring their own take on the Mini Cinny Scrolls to stores across the country.

“This is the first time we’re working with local bakers to bring freshly baked products into Yo-Chi venues nationwide,” said Olliver Alis, Yo-Chi Co-owner and Brand Director. “We’re partnering with small, much-loved bakeries in each state, and while that means things won’t always run like clockwork, it’s what makes this collab so special. These scrolls are made fresh, in small batches, and we’ll be doing our best to keep our community updated so you can get your mitts on these very cute, very famous Mini Cinny Scrolls.

“We’re incredibly proud to showcase these iconic local bakers — each with their own story and their own take on our exclusive Mini Cinny Scrolls. I’m equal parts excited and nervous… there’ll be sell-outs, maybe a little mayhem, but this kind of community-led campaign is what fills our whole business with joy.”

With limited quantities, small-batch baking and unpredictable drop times, the cinny scrolls will be instore until sold out, so you’ll want to get in quick!

Fresh drops will continue throughout the campaign, so if you miss out the first time, there’s still hope. Just keep an eye on Yo-Chi’s socials for the next release.
