If you’ve had Lily Allen’s West End Girl on repeat lately (same), you’re very much not alone. So when whispers started circulating that the queen of the palace could be heading to Australia very, very soon, it’s fair to say we collectively sat up a little straighter.
Yesterday, Lily popped up on Triple J casually dropping that she ‘will be in that [southern] hemisphere by the end of the year’ when asked if she had any plans to tour down under giving us all collective goosebumps.

Then, the chatter *really* kicked off this afternoon when Frontier Touring posted a not-so-subtle, very deliberate Instagram nod to Lily’s song Tennis, perfectly coinciding with the Australian Open, leaving fans (aka our entire office) squirming for more info. Our West End Girl hasn’t hit our shores since her February 2019 tour, so it feels right about time for her return.
For now, we’re watching closely and reading between the lines. Whether this is Frontier testing the waters or Lily gearing up for something bigger, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled and playlists ready. Until then, we’ll be over here replaying Madeline and manifesting an Aussie tour announcement pronto.
