Three additional cast members have been announced for the upcoming LIAR GAME TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in April 2026 and was first announced in August 2025.
The three newest cast members include Kazuhiro Nakaya as Leronira, Nobuo Tobita as Kazuo Fujisawa, and Yoji Ueda as Mitsuo Tanimura.

They join a main voice cast that stars Saya Hitomi as Nao Kanzaki and Takeo Otsuka as Shinichi Akiyama.
Yuzo Sato (The Gene of AI director) is serving as chief director for the anime series, with Asami Kawano (The Vampire Dies In No Time assistant director) as director, Tatsuhiko Urahata (Baki Hanma) as series composer and screenwriter, Kei Tsuchiya (Trillion Game) as character designer, and Kisuke Koizumi (Trillion Game, My Happy Marriage) as sound director. Madhouse is in charge of the animation production.
The suspense manga series by Shinobu Kaitani was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine from February 17, 2005 to January 22, 2015 and released a total of 19 tankobon volumes.
The manga also inspired a Japanese live-action TV drama, a Korean live-action TV drama, a live-action film, and a stage play.
