A trailer for the upcoming Liar Game TV anime has been released.
It was also announced that the opening song is “Bubble” by Yorushika, while the ending song is “Asahi” by Lucky Kilimanjaro.
Liar Game is set to begin airing on April 6, 23:00 JST (effectively April 7 at 12:00 JST). Crunchyroll will stream it. The anime’s synopsis reads:
A Mysterious Invitation. One Hundred Million Yen. The Game Begins. College student Nao Kanzaki suddenly receives a strange letter and a suitcase containing 100 million yen. She’s been chosen to participate in the LIAR GAME—a high-stakes psychological battle where lies, deception, and betrayal reign supreme. Naïve and painfully honest, Nao quickly finds herself cornered. To survive, she turns to Shinichi Akiyama, a brilliant former con artist with unmatched intellect. As they dive deeper into the twisted game, the two must outwit opponents in a world where trusting others could be fatal.

Liar Game is based on the manga by Shinobu Kaitani. The manga debuted in Shueisha’s Young Jump in 2005 and released its sixth and final volume in 2014. It inspired two live-action series, one Japanese and one South Korean.
