The first trailer and ending theme song artist have been revealed for the upcoming Let’s Go Kaikigumi TV anime series at AnimeJapan 2026, which will begin broadcasting in Japan on July 5, 2026.
YouTuber uketsu (author of Strange Houses and Strange Pictures) will perform the ending theme song for the series, which has yet to confirm a title. He is also listed in the anime’s credits for song cooperation.

Yutaka Hirata, who previously directed episodes such as PSYCHO PASS episode 16 and Golden Kamuy Season 3 episode 12, is directing the anime series, with Yoshimitsu Yamashita (HAKYU HOSHIN ENGI) as character designer and Mutsumi Ito (Room Camp) as series composer and scriptwriter. C-Station is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast will include:

- • Ruriko Aoki as Mechako
- • Mayumi Shintani as Noroi no Ningyo
- • Yoshino Aoyama as Shurako
- • Yuki Sakakihara as Doppelganger
- • Shigeru Chiba as Narrator
The comedy horror manga series was created by View and was serialized on Burg Hamburg Burg’s Omocoro website from July 19, 2018 to July 12, 2024. Shogakukan published the manga in print and has released five total tankobon volumes.
A “new series” related to Let’s Go Kaikigumi was announced for serialization on Omocoro in October 2025.

Let’s Go Kaikigumi follows an unnamed protagonist becoming involved with an organization that deals with the paranormal after meeting their leader, Mechako. The only problem is that the protagonist is extremely frightened of such things.
