The upcoming L’etoile de Paris en Fleur anime movie now has a new, 92-second trailer, offering a slightly lengthier look at the period film than the previous, 60-second main trailer.
The new trailer includes a look at former ballerina Olga, who becomes a tutor to co-main heroine Chizuru Sonoi, and the diplomat Shoichi Yajima.
L’etoile de Paris en Fleur (Paris ni Saku L’etoile) will begin screening in Japan on March 13, 2026. The original film is set in the early 20th century and follows the girls Fujiko Tsuguta and Chizuru, who reunite in Paris years after a coincidental first meeting while in pursuit of their respective dreams of art and ballet.
Goro Taniguchi (ONE PIECE FILM RED, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection) is directing the movie, which features character design drafts from Katsuya Kondo (Kiki’s Delivery Service and Ocean Waves character designer) and background art direction by Yuji Kaneko (Tengoku Daimakyo). Kondo is also the main animator.
