Melbourne City star Leticia McKenna has been named Shark Player of the Month for November in the Ninja A-League, after a fan vote.
A key player during City’s invincible 2024-25 season in the Ninja A-League, McKenna has once again shown her class at the beginning of the new campaign.
Michael Matricciani’s City side are currently sitting in fifth place on the ladder despite having played just three matches this season due to their participation in the AFC Women’s Champions League.

Featuring in all three of the matches during the voting period, McKenna has helped her side once again begin their season with an unbeaten record, recording two wins and a draw so far and even contributing crucial assist as well.
McKenna was nominated for the Shark Player of the Month award in November as one of the 10 highest-rated players on FotMob’s rating system.
The 10 players with the highest FotMob rating (from 0.0 to 10.0) across each voting period are selected as the monthly nominees for the Shark Player of the Month award.
The November eligibility period included Rounds 1-5 of the Ninja A-League season, with games between October 31 and November 30 considered in the FotMob rating system.

McKenna accrued a FotMob average rating of 7.83 through the eligibility period to earn her Shark Player of the Month nomination.
In the fan vote, the midfield dynamo polled ahead of the likes of CommBank Matildas star and teammate Holly McNamara as well as Brisbane Roar’s Dutch ace Bente Jansen to clinch the November award.
