Paramount Australia and New Zealand later confirmed in a statement that Prosser will step down from the role and leave the business at the end of April, closing out a 15 year run with the broadcaster.

Prosser has been a key figure within the company’s advertising and commercial operations, overseeing sales strategy across the network’s broadcast and digital platforms.

Beverley McGarvey, President of Network 10, Head of Streaming and Regional Lead for Australia and New Zealand, praised Prosser’s contribution to the organisation.

“Rod has been an important leader within our advertising division and the wider management team and has guided the sales team with clarity and focus. We thank him for his contribution over many years and wish him every success.”

Prosser said the decision came after a long stretch with the company.

“After 15 years at Paramount, I’ve made the decision that it’s the right time for me to take a break and reset before the next chapter.”

It was also confirmed Grant Madigan, currently Paramount Australia’s Head of Commerce and Sales Operations, will step into the newly appointed role of Vice President of Sales and report directly to Paramount Global’s President of International Markets Advertising Sales, Lee Sears.

The departure marks the second major leadership exit from the business in recent months, after longtime programming boss Dan Monaghan left late last year to join Foxtel as Executive Director of Entertainment Content.
