Players’ movement ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 is gaining momentum. Direct signings have become the focus after teams announced player retentions.

Mustafizur Rahman has been confirmed as a direct signing for Lahore Qalandars. He was previously picked in the 2016 and 2018 editions of the league. This time, Lahore Qalandars secured him ahead of the draft for PSL 11.

According to Lahore Qalandars, the Bangladesh star has been picked for PKR 6.44 crore. The left-arm pacer is expected to strengthen the bowling attack with his experience and variations.

Meanwhile, Karachi Kings have also made a high-profile move. The franchise signed Moeen Ali as their direct signing. The deal is valued at PKR 6.44 crore. The England all-rounder adds depth to Karachi’s batting and spin options.

In another major development, Steve Smith has joined Sialkot Stallionz for PSL 11 as a direct signing. The Australian batter brings leadership and international experience to the squad.
