The official Twitter/X account of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime announced last week that the series will receive a television rebroadcast in Japan, starting April 5, 2026. The rebroadcast will start with the “Unwavering Resolve Arc” from the first season in 2019.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle was the first installment in a trilogy of anime films that will close the Demon Slayer saga. It is known in Japan as Gekijoban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen Daiisshou Akaza Sairai, and premiered in Japanese theaters on July 18, 2025. The anime film was screened in IMAX and premium large formats in the U.S. and Canada on September 12, 2025, with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment distributing the film.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle was nominated for “Best Motion Picture – Animated” at the Golden Globes in December 2025, losing out to KPop Demon Hunters.
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime began with its 2019 first season, which was followed by the 2020 Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – the Movie: Mugen Train. Other installments include a TV broadcast version of Mugen Train, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc. Crunchyroll is currently streaming all entries of the anime franchise on its service.
The manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 15, 2016 to May 18, 2020. Twenty-three total tankobon volumes were released during its publication.

VIZ Media releases the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series in English, describing the main premise as:
Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
