In a public address in Kalaburagi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called on Karnataka’s Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar to ensure equitable development across the state. Highlighting regional disparities, Kharge urged the leaders to replicate the development seen in their own constituencies, like Mysuru, in the Kalyana-Karnataka region. He stated, ‘do for Kalavurgi what you did for Mysuru.’ Kharge emphasized that the focus should be on the well-being of the entire state, not just specific areas, advising the leaders to work for all constituencies.
