Kana Imprint Licenses Muneyuki Kaneshiro & Kensuke Nishida’s Jagaaan Supernatural Horror Manga

Abrams ComicArts’ Kana manga imprint announced on its Twitter/X account that it has licensed the supernatural horror series Jagaaan and will release the first volume in September 2026.

The Jagaaan manga series is written by Blue Lock manga co-creator and writer Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Kensuke Nishida. It was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine from February 6, 2017 to November 8, 2021. A total of 14 tankobon volumes were released in Japan.

Kana was first established by Abrams ComicArts in October 2024, with its first manga releases being the first volumes of Shiro Kuroi’s Leviathan and Tetsuya Tsutsui’s Manhole. More recently, the imprint released the first omnibus volumes of Tsukasa Hojo’s Cat’s Eye and City Hunter manga series. It also announced that it will publish the first volume of Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki’s Billy Bat manga series for the first time in English on June 2, 2026.
