The Dark Moon: The Blood Altar TV anime series has revealed that voice actor Kaji Yuki is joining the cast. He will be voicing as Sooha’s childhood friend, Chris from episode three and onwards.

Dark Moon: The Blood Altar was first announced in September 2025. It started airing on January 9, 2026.
The series is based on a Korean webtoon written and illustrated by HYBE and is part of the Project Dark Moon multimedia franchise. The series is inspired by K-pop group Enhypen, who also sang the Japanese version of the franchise’s song, “One In A Billion” as well as its two ending songs, “Criminal Love” and “Fatal Trouble.” The franchise also includes its prequels, Dark Moon: Children of Vamfield and Dark Moon: The Blood of Vargr, its sequel, Dark Moon: Two Moons, and its spin-off series, Dark Moon: The Grey City.
Webtoon has licensed and is publishing the series digitally. They described the synopsis of the series as:
Welcome to Riverfield, where the most popular boys at two rival schools happen to be vampires and werewolves. When a mysterious new student, Sooha, transfers to Riverfield, the rivals find themselves inexplicably drawn to her. As horrible incidents start to shake the town, the boys’ forgotten pasts slowly start to unravel… and their world turns upside down.
