It appears as though the drama between Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft isn’t slowing down any time soon.
As noted by TMZ, Jordan Hudson — Bill Belichick’s girlfriend — was photographed wearing an “Orchids of Asia Day Spa” shirt while standing next to the former Patriots head coach at the UNC-Duke basketball game on Saturday night.
For those who forget, “Orchids of Asia” was the massage parlor in Jupiter, Fla. that was connected to a prostitution sting — an operation that included charges filed against Kraft.
Kraft and the others involved in the sting were charged in February 2019 after an investigation into possible prostitution at the spa and massage parlor. Kraft was charged with two counts of solicitation of prostitution as part of the sting, with the Patriots owner pleading not guilty.
Prosecutors eventually dropped the misdemeanor solicitation charges in 2020 against Kraft and several other other men after a state appeals court upheld a ruling in 2019 from Palm Beach County Judge Leonard Hanser.
As noted by the Associated Press, Hanser ruled that the warrant allowing the installation of hidden cameras inside the massage parlor didn’t sufficiently protect the privacy of innocent customers who received legal massages. Prosecutors didn’t challenge the ruling with the state Supreme Court.
Even with those charges being dropped, the whole incident stood as an embarrassing saga for the Patriots owner — one that Hudson was quick to put a spotlight back on just before Super Bowl LX between the Patriots and Seahawks.
Both Belichick and Kraft have traded barbs on numerous occasions since Belichick and the Patriots opted to split after a four-win 2023 season.
Ironically, both Kraft and Belichick did not earn entry into the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026 — with the longtime Patriots owner offering up a statement in support of Belichick after news broke that the legendary head coach didn’t earn a spot in Canton this year.
“Whatever perceptions may exist about any personal differences between Bill and me, I strongly believe Bill Belichick’s record and body of work speak for themselves,” Kraft said. “As head coach of the New England Patriots for more than two decades, he set the standard for on-field excellence, preparation, and sustained success in the free agency and salary cap era of the National Football League.
“He is the greatest coach of all time and he unequivocally deserves to be a unanimous first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer.”
