The Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube anime series has released a new trailer for its upcoming second cour. It was revealed during Jump Festa 2026. The series will return airing in Japan on January 7, 2026.
It was also announced that Shunichi Toki will join the cast voicing Nube as a child and Yu Shimamura will voice as Minako, Nube’s teacher.
Netflix is streaming the first cour of the series in Asia outside of Japan and China, while REMOW’s It’s Anime YouTube channel is streaming the series only in certain countries. Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube premiered with its first cour on July 2nd, 2025.
The anime adaptation is based on Sho Makura and Takeshi Okano’s Jigoku Sensei Nube manga series. The manga ran from August 1993 to May 1999 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and released a total of 31 manga volumes. It inspired a 1999 anime produced by Toei Animation titled Nube, a live-action series, and a spin-off manga series and its sequel.
