JAKKS Pacific has announced a new licensing partnership with Kodansha to design and manufacture a collection of toys, collectibles, and accessories inspired by some of the company’s select anime titles, such as Attack on Titan and Gachiakuta.
As part of the agreement, the full merchandise collection from JAKKS Pacific will include the development of various products like figures, plush, and tech accessories based on Attack on Titan and Gachiakuta. The products will be distributed across both specialty and online retailers, as well as direct-to-consumer channels and collector-focused platforms. Select merchandise will also be made available at major retailers.
JAKKS Pacific announced the creation of an “anime, manga, and digital creator cultural platform” last February. It previously confirmed licensing agreements with Crunchyroll, VIZ Media, and Aniplex most recently, as well as in the VTuber space with Cover CORP’s hololive English brand and streamer Ironmouse.
